The horror setting adds to the tense atmosphere but becomes more attractive with each moment of moving and playing.

How to play

When starting, you will be put in an empty room; flashing lights and distant echoes add to the tension. Not long after, you will have to face enemies hiding behind corners, long corridors, or dark rooms that suddenly open.

Always observe your surroundings. Small noises can signal enemies approaching. The room system in Backrooms is designed chaotically, forcing you to constantly change direction of movement, find cover, or prepare to shoot.

Depending on the area, you can choose to use melee weapons or long-range guns. Weapons have their own stats, such as damage, rate of fire, stability, or attack range. Collecting them throughout the journey will greatly improve your chances of survival.

Solo mode

Fight alone in the maze.
Find your way out.
Free choice of tactics: run, hide, or counterattack directly.

Co-op mode

Join forces with friends or other players.
Coordinate roles: guide, long-range gunner, and item collector.
Easier to survive, but the speed of enemies can also change according to the group's difficulty.
